Character fisherman’s cottage in St Catherine’s Quarter of Honfleur comprising of 1st and 2nd floor living . Modernised and fully equipped, with tiled bathroom. 1 x 5′ double 1 x 4’6″. Please provide sheets/pillowcases and towels. A 2 minute walk will take you past chic shops to the restaurants and bars surrounding the ancient marina. Not suitable for young children or infirm.
Normandy is the gastronomic area of France. The Seine flows through Honfleur. The historic Norman town of Rouen is accesible, as is Bayeux with its famous tapestry. Paris is 2 hours away (Monet’s garden). The Normandy beaches; the cliffs at Etretat with its golf course looking over the sea; Deauville/Trouville, famous for the casino, horse racing, film festival and long sandy beach with promenade. Its lovely to sit and people watch whilst enjoying a drink or see artists on the quay, until its time to choose your restaurant for the evening.
