Authentic 12th century Templar Castle set on more than 11 acres of fossil rich land, in the heart of Haute Provence, with a commanding 360 degree view over the turquoise waters of the Lake of Castillon and the towering mountains of the Verdon. Secluded on its own knoll, yet only 100 km from Nice and the Cote d’Azur, and two kilometres from the village of Saint Andre les Alpes, come and enjoy total luxury, in our officially rated five-star apartments. Ideal for three to four families, the castle has just recently had the addition of a huge 14m x 7m pool overlooking the lake which will provide everyone with hours of fun Within the chau are three luxurious apartments, each with it’s own kitchen, living room, and at least one large bathroom per bedroom. All are equipped to the highest of standards and include all equipment necessary for a luxurious self catering holiday.
On the grounds of the Chau stands the medieval church dedicated to Saint Martin, amid the ruins of houses that have blended with the wild limestone landscape.
