This charming 17th century cottage is a truly peaceful retreat in the picturesque medieval and fortified village of Turenne. The village is perfectly preserved, officially listed and considered as one of the most beautiful in France. The lively town of Brive-la-Gaillarde is 15km away and Limoges is just over an hour’s drive. The property is set at the foot of the chau and its ramparts, and boasts really magnificent and spectacular views of rolling countryside towards the Corr, the Lot and the Dordogne. Fishing, horse-riding, golf and cycling facilities are nearby. The cottage, full of character, has been completely renovated to a high standard with quality fittings and a tasteful mixture of modern and rustic furniture. The open plan ground floor with beamed ceiling and wood flooring, consists of a well equipped modern kitchen, a living/dining area (with double sofabed), a shower and WC.
