La Mothe Manor House and the 3 cottages are set in almost perfect location, standing in the middle of their own estate (150 acres) located on the banks of the Charente river. Calm, silence, harmony are the key words to describe this secluded but not isolated setting. Only a few minutes drive from the busy market town of Angoul. The Cognac vineyards, the Dordogne valley area and the ocean sandy beaches are at easy reach.
The 3 cottages which can communicate with each other through doors located at the downstairs level can be let as independent cottages or simultaneously. They offer a very high standard of accommodation: fully equipped kitchens, wide bedrooms and large living rooms opening on to terraces with outdoor furniture, barbecues etc. The terraces are facing a large private garden with outdoor games and a fenced swimming pool exclusively reserved to our tenants.
By April 2008, Ryanair operate 3 scheduled flights a week between Stansted and Augouleme. The airport of Angouleme is 10 mins away from La Mothe.
