The former 19th century vineyard estate is full of charm and authenticity. Overlooking the Laurence river valley, on top of a hill, the house offers stunning views on one of the most beautiful French wine growing regions. This former vineyard monastery is specifically well made for conferences, incentive trips (with private cook!), meditation retreat weeks, or people who “want to get away from it all”. maybe you always wanted to write a book, let this place inspire you fully. La Plantation lies hidden in the woods, 4 miles from Montignac-sur-Vre, famous for its Lascaux archaeological site and 20 minutes drive from Sarlat and Les Eyzies-de-Tayac (Musuem of Prehistory). With an ample surface of 300 m² La Plantation offers guests 5 bedrooms (8 to 11 people), a large bedroom-living room of 90 m² another full living room, a dining room with opening doors towards the terrace for beautiful dinners, a bright fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms (one with shower), 3 WC, a laundry room, a fridge-freezer, a shower and a large private swimming pool (6mx12m) meeting the current French safety standards. Anywhere you want to sit, either in the shade or in the sun, there are special corners to sit down with friends or to retreat quietly.
