A 17th century chateau at the foot of the Maas within 15km of the Belgium border. The estate stretches over a 6 hectare valley in the midst of a 2000 hectare Ardenne forest. The only entrance road to the chateau is along a private tow path of 3km. This is the ideal place to de-stress and enjoy all that the area offers. On the estate itself you can play tennis/badminton/table tennis/fishing/petanque (please bring along your own equipment). Also starting at the property are many hiking and mountain bike routes – it’s even possible to rent mountain bikes on request. For a group wishing to dine on site we have a large reception barn for hire that we have furnished as a cafe. The chateau has a large open fire place in the dining room; you will feel like you’re back in the 17th century as a master of the castle. It is also possible to bring your horse if you wish. The chateau may be rented by itself for groups of up to 20, or with its gites (farmhouses) as well for groups of up to 45. If the chateau is rented on its own the gites will not be rented independently to another group.
