Incredible family chateau with above ground pool, Sleeps 15

A 19th century chateau that really looks the part, set in a five-hectare park with rare trees and many species of birds. A big group can self-cater here in great style. The house has grand salons, elaborate fireplaces in almost every room and beautifully furnished bedrooms with pure silk curtains and antique English and French furnishings. Theres even a childrens bathroom in bright colours and fun designs. The gardens are well maintained and include original outbuildings, many fruit trees, a vegetable garden and large lawns. The house was built in 1875 and has seen less than half-a-dozen owners since new. Some major restorations were done at the end of the last century, and the present owners have kept the house in as original condition as possible. This is an exclusive and private chateau. The owners request that before a booking is made you need to have a telephone conversation with either Mr. or Mrs. Wills. Total accommodations in the chateau is for 15 in its 8 large bedrooms. The house is in superb condition and retains almost all of the original features. It is centrally heated and recently re-wired. The current owners have a young family so comfort and safety have been a priority. There is an above ground pool and a Veranda for outside entertaining.

A three storey town house which is within easy reach of the town’s square, which is annually converted into a Christmas village or a beach. Saint Quentin caters for all, as there are plenty of leisure pursuits nearby including canoeing, fishing, horse riding, golf and tennis. In the heart of the town there is the fabulous nature park together with numerous shops, museums and wonderful restaurants. If desired Paris is just 1 and a half hours away.
Accommodation: The house has a modern fully equipped kitchen including a washing machine and dishwasher. The comfortable open plan dining room and living room has TV and DVD. The first floor comprises of a double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom. The third bedroom is in the loft with beautiful views of the countryside.The garden is enclosed with a balcony and BBQ. Delightful 18th century fisherman’s cottage, set just 60 metres from the sea in this historic medieval port on the Baie de Somme. Modernised, but retaining its original character. Beautiful countryside for walking and cycling. Horse riding, fishing and golf nearby. The town has many fine restaurants.The cottage, which does not have a garden, is a no smoking environment. Parking is nearby. Accommodation: Lounge/Dining room, shower room and kitchen. Spiral staircase leading to a double bedroom and twin bedroom. Sofa bed and a folding bed can sleep an extra 2 people.

Our village is an excellent base for exploring the champagne caves at Epernay, plus the famous city of Reims. Close by within the ancient hunting forests stands Compiegne, a town rich in art treasures. Let’s not forget Paris, Disneyland & Parc Asterix. Local amenities includes excellent restaurants, lake with beach and golf.
