Close to local shops and village bar/restaurant. Sandy beaches, water theme parks and beautiful countryside within easy drive. Ideal base for golf at Le Touquet or exploring WW1 history. It’s within 75 mins drive from Calais, an hour from Boulogne. It’s close to the northern edge of the forest of Crecy, 150 sq km of oaks and beeches, wild deer, wild boar and many birds, particularly owls. It is a large, well-equipped house with plasma TV (inc BBC and ITV channels), DVD and CD cassette player, fan oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven and washing machine. In the grand dining room there is a wood burning stove and the whole house is centrally heated and has a well-equipped games room with table footie and air hockey. There is a large panoramic garden with unbroken views + outdoor table tennis. For children there are various theme parks (Bagatelle, Parc de Dennebroque, Naours) 2½ hrs drive to Euro Disney, 2 hrs to Asterix Park, chateaux, abbeys, market towns, museums. Aquaclub + Aqualand nearby (big swimming complex with water shutes and tropical wave pools), plus watersports and sail boarding on the beaches. WW1 battlefields are 1 hr away at Beaumont Hamel and Albert. The beaches of the Cote D’Opal are all about ½ hrs drive away. Bed linen and towels are available for hire at £10 per guest.
